Doesn't work.
The product just doesn't work, that's all. We have two one year old Weimaraners with incredible hearing, and no matter how we adjusted it this whistle it didn't even got them to notice.

I bought this whistle because my next door neighbor has three chihuahuas from hell that bark for hours on end every day and night. One of the good reviews said that the whistle worked to quiet loud dogs. Mine makes the Chihahuas bark MORE. AND IT IS NOT SILENT. I'm sure my neihbor has heard me...
