A: I use principally Hohner Special 20s, along with Marine Bands, and Pro Harps. The OVERWHELMING majority of blues players use Hohners. Lee Oscars, Seydel, Huang, etc. are all powdery, but I would...


Buy a Hohner dearest 20 to start. You need a few different keys.

If the song is in A pentatonic then you need a D harp. It's always the 4th closeness of the root.

I've heard more on the Lee Oskar than the Seydel.

I would also not lessen the Hohner. The marine band is good for all around, but the blues harp is easier to bend.
